Japan ratified CRPD. But unfortunately, the discrimination case of people with disabilities happened at school by the teacher.
In this June, an elementary school teacher, work at Okinawa prefecture, said to a boisterous student “Please raise your hands if you are nosey or annoy” at the class with special class’s students. And she added to the student who did not rise hands “You should go to a special class too” and grabbed the student’s wrist. The teacher has explained to the investigation conducted by the school board “That was part of teaching, no malicious”.
She may constantly have an awareness that special class children are annoying. Discrimination is never ended, as long as the segregated education is continuing.
